It seems something to the effect that the UK is going to broaden their broadcasting laws and in the same swoop, remove any references to webcasting. I think this means that podcasters will end up in a position where they may lose some rights over their shows.

Does anyone have any more info on this? I'm having a hard time with this article, likely because I have no experience with the podcasting scene in the UK.
You don't need to understand the European of it, you have it yourself in america.
Just search for broadcast treaty and EFF and you should find all the material, including links to how to act on it.
