The podcast model isn't really built to handle this, though. The idea of subscribing to a feed so that fresh content just shows up is built around the idea that there is fresh content appearing. When a feed fades out, different aggregators deal with it in different ways. Some do nothing, others eventually remove the feed from the list.
The question(s) is/are:
- Since the content is still usable, should you try to keep the feed alive by mucking around with time stamps?
- Do you repoint the feed somewhere else?
- Do you just let it die?
