From the "are we on the same page" category...
Every now and again I run across the phrase MP3 Blog. My initial thought is always that I think the person using that phrase has no idea what they're talking about. My second thought, though, is that I really don't know what I'm talking about.
MP3 Blogs were the precursor to podcasting in some ways. Generally, these blogs posted music that was hard to find, independent, or out into the public domain. The audio was available only via direct download. While most MP3 Blogs are turning into podcasts these days (which means they are offering listeners the ability to subscribe via RSS), there are some good old fashioned MP3 Blogs still out there.
