Sima Products has introduced the Hitch (model USB-101), a device that lets you connect nearly any digital camera, DAP, PMP, or flash drive with a USB connection and copy single files or entire albums.
Now this is cool. You can now meet your buddy in the street and transfer files to each other without the use of a computer. No more emailing links or verbally transferring URLs, just a quick zap and now everyone has it.
It's even DRM compliant so if you like being treated like a criminal by your music vendor, you can continue on.
This technology has the ability to really amplify the viral aspect of podcasts. It's one thing to tell someone that you're going to send them a link to a show later on, but quite another to get a show right here right now.
