Independent? 500 Listeners IS Good
If you're an independent podcaster and you've hit 500 listeners, then you're doing good. There are only a few podcasts out there hitting those astronomical tens or hundreds of thousands of listeners numbers and they're mostly backed by main stream media.
Think about a room with 500 people in it. That's a lot of people.
