Reader Steve B pointed me towards a relatively recent study of Internet media by Arbitron. Here's a link to the PDF file. It's relatively long, but put together in nice little slide bits for easy consumption.
The two biggest surprises for me?
Respondents were pretty much split 50/50 on whether they would rather watch free content with commercials they can't skip through, or pay a few bucks and watch content with no commercials.
Over 60% of respondents had heard of either Sirius or XFM. satellite radio.
There's a ton of interesting information in ths study. The sample group was less than 2,000 people, sadly, so I don't know indicative it really is of the habits of 300 million Americans, but it's certainly better than the other survey that came out last week.
