Podcast User Magazine has a good article this month on how Libsyn users can host their media files elsewhere. At first glance this seemed like something that nobody in their right mind is going to want to do. Let's face it - Libsyn's greatest strength is their file hosting system and their greatest weakness is their crappy blogware. Who would want to use their crappy blogware but not use their exceptional file hosting?
Well, I guess there are a few such as podcast networks or other associations that want to control their own stats.
Chris Sherry lays out step by step instructions on how to do just this in Podcast User Magazine #5. I'd like to post them here, but I'm not sure that I can. Therefore, you're going to have to read it for yourself :)
