If your interviewee asks you to post the interview unedited, then do it.Joseph Jaffe, whom I've profiled on Biz Podcasting before, recently interviewed Adam Curry and Ron Bloom of Podshow. Curry asked Jaffe to post the interview unedited and...well...if you consider splitting the interview into two parts editing, then Jaffe did. It gets even worse because Jaffe is now refusing to post the second part of the interview until Curry gives him some "link love" or at least mentions the interview on the Daily Source Code, Curry's podcast.
Adam Curry is an unfortunate guy to anger if you're a podcaster, but that's not the real issue here. If someone - anyone - is kind enough to give you some of their time for an interview, I think it's disrespectful to discard their wishes when it comes to publication.
"If your interviewee asks you to post the interview unedited, then do it." - this never happened and I did not edit it in the least bit; all I did was boost/amplify Adam's voice which came out too soft and also took the time to put in shownotes for my listeners.
Keep listening my friend...you might want to repost when you're done.
