I was pretty happy about this when I first heard about it, but after some investigation I think I have to throw Verio into the "don't get it pile".
Verio doesn't seem to know what podcasting is all about, for starters, and then to add insult to injury, they have very low limits on their hosting packages.
Verio seems to think that a podcast is either an alert mechanism or a commercial:
By using a Podcast, you can automatically notify your website subscribers about new Podcast Episodes on your website via RSS readers like iTunes™.
Ummm...no. A podcast is not an alert.
...you can distribute your company's New Product Promotion, Bargain News, Business Hours, IR Information... etc. for a wide variety of topics for multiple audiences.
And again, no. A podcast is a show of some length with some type of content. It isn't a sign hanging on the door advertising business hours.
From here things get really weird. The smallest hosting plan offers 5GB of space and 200GB bandwith. Oh, and 100 email accounts. Shrug...back to the drawing board for Verio.
