World Nomad's podcast episodes each teach a different language and this is where I'm left looking for the value proposition.
Remember, kids, that what makes a podcast a podcast is that it can be subscribed to. If there's no XML feed, then there's no functionality to enabled the "cast" and you're just left with a limp old "pod". World Nomad provides a feed, but I have to wonder who would want to subscribe to it? I don't argue that the individual audio files are useful to pick through for up and coming travellers, but a steady feed of language podcasts about different languages world-wide? Does anyone travel that much that they would want a different language podcast deposited onto their computer each week?
There's a part of me that thinks this is just bandwagon hopping on the part of World Nomad. A part of me that thinks they've decided to get into to podcasting without thinking the entire thing through. But there's another part of me that is genuinely curious if there's a demand for this type of podcast.
Thoughts?
