Not that I'm trying to do a run on magazines or anything, but I took a gander at Podcast User Magazine today. Unlike ID3 Magazine, Podcast User is a downloadable PDF magazine rather than actual print media.
I like this type of distribution. On a slightly unrelated note, I've been an (almost) avid reader of Tux Magazine which is a monthly PDF magazine for beginner Linux users.
There have been eZines for quite a while now, but they've largely lacked layout. You had two choices - a nicely formatted and shiny print magazine that, by its very nature, had limited distribution; or an online eZine that largely lacked formatting which, in my humble opinion, makes them harder to read.
The downloadable PDF magazines that are starting to pop up are the best of both worlds. Global distribution and (potentially) good layout.
The content of Podcast User is pretty good and the layout is technically fine, but obviously amateurish. A small thing to learn or fix over time because, as we all know, content is king not the layout.
