Yup - that was a page with no less than 16 knitting podcasts on it. 16 podcasts on a topic that I don't know a single person in the world who practises it. But they all have listeners.
While I was hanging my hat at b5 Media, one of the bloggers wrote a knitting blog. I always thought that was kind of "too" niche, if you know what I mean, but it always seemed to have a fair bit of traffic.
And knitting supply companies? They have a really, really targetted audience just wating for them with these podcasts. Up until podcasting or blogging, what main stream media outlet could return 100% knitters? Probably none (I say probably because I'm not really in the loop about the existence of knitting magazines or shows).
